Description:
Marked on top of the receiver is Bureau County something like 50-60 of these were made and sold to Bureau County. Original wood contains most of the original varnish showing very little signs of use complete with a carbine style butt plate. Folding ladder rear sight and little blade front sight. 30 inch round barrel has an excellent bore. Bayonet is also excellent. Original sling rings. Cleaning rod is present. Front barrel band finish is wearing off on the bottom. Barrel and receiver retain most all of the original blue. Dimming case colors present on hammer and lever. Pretty sharp little gun but very scarce because very few of these are still bouncing around.
