Roy Gradle was a well-known California Custom rifle maker in the 1950-1960s. This Roy Gradle Custom, 1941 vintage, Winchester Model 70 Rifle is fitted with a near 26-inch tapered barrel (stamped "Roy Gradle" on top of the barrel) with a Redfield banded front sight with hood, engine-turned bolt, checkered bolt handle, attractive checkered walnut sock fitted with an ebony forend tip and pistol grip cap, cheek rest,
sling swivel studs, and Winchester steel butt-plate, is blue finished, and chambered in .300 H&H Magnum. The rifle is in excellent condition, retaining 98-99% blue, including the butt-plate. The stock retains almost all of its finish, with a few very minor handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action is tight and functions perfectly. Comes with a unique Bear Cub Master Kollmorgen 4x scope mounted to the gun with Stith Adjustable Scope Mounts (the rear mount has an integral flip-up rear back-up sight). The scope is in very fine condition, retaining 98% blue, clear optics, with a few scratches on the eyepiece. A beautiful custom rifle. CURIO & RELIC. PRICE: $1,995.00
