Description:
Savage model 99R is 250-3000 Savage. Built in 1955, this rifle is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting or a tang sight. Other features include a cartridge counter,lever safety,hand checkered walnut stock and forend,steel buttplate,and case hardened lever.. The 24" barrel has a mint bore. The rifle has a Bushnell Scope Chief 3x9 scope installed. The scope has an unusual reticle that has a standard cross hair that has a pop up European style post by turning a dial.
The rifle is in excellent condition retaining 98% of the original blue and wood finish. The wood is sound with no cracks or damage. The rifle comes with 5 full boxes 100 grain factory ammo. 2 boxes of Winchester and 3 boxes off Remington. A hard to find rifle in the condition and configuration.C&R eligible.
