Description:
This is a nice small game hunting rifle. The stock is a very checkered wood with capped pistol grip. The serial number dates this rifle to around 2004. Chambered for the exceptionally popular .223 Remington, this rifle would be very suited to hunting large varmints including coyote at great distances (out to 600 yards). The rifle itself is in good condition. It has a fine blued finish with one ding towards the front of the barrel on the left side. There are also a few spots of light bluing or finish wear on the bottom of the barrel and some at the muzzle. At 22” in length, the barrel provides the rifle with an elegant appearance. The bore is in good condition. There is one spot near the muzzle which may be light pitting. It shows up in the picture of the bore, but just barely. It is unlikely to have any effect on the accuracy of the rifle since virtually any ammunition fired through this barrel will be jacketed ammo. The wood stock has a few light marks or wear to the surface but nothing serious. The magazine holds 5 rounds and the floor plate can be opened to dump the rounds together rather than having to cycle the bolt multiple times to empty the gun. As mentioned in the title, the rifle comes with a nice Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 scope. The scope is in excellent physical shape with no notable dings or scratches. The rifle uses the standard Ruger scope rings.
