First Generation Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver in 38 WCF, manufactured in 1903 in Hartford, Connecticut.
This gun shipped to Witte Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri on February 7, 1903.
The overall condition is solid. Has nice patina with some case cloring. The gun is operational and has all 4 clicks as it should. I have shot this gun with lite cowboy loads, and it shoots great. The bore has good rifling but does have pitting but I must say it is very accurate. All serial numbers match. This is a fantastic example of the Colt Target Bisley SAA in the great .38-40!
