Description:
This firearm is a Springfield Armory U.S. Army 1911. During World War I, Springfield was contracted to help produce 1911's alongside Colt. Under this contract, Springfield made just over 25,700 pistols for the war effort. This firearm has a few unique features on it. Underneath the grip on the right side of the gun, there is a name scratched into the frame of the gun that reads "R C Wilson". On the left side grip, there are three notches that have been carved into the lower diamond of the grip panel. .45 ACP
