Description:
24 inch octagon barrel has a fair-good bore with scattered light roughness throughout showing some throat erosion but quite strong rifling approaching the muzzle. Barrel retains about 70% original blue with the balance thinning and toning to a brown patina. The frame is a mottled silvery gray brown case-hardened patina. Original fire blued rear sight, Brass blade front site. The smooth walnut buttstock and Schnabel forearm with ebony insert, remain in very good plus condition. Showing mostly worn finish with scattered light handling marks, and excellent metal-to-wood fit.
