Savage - Model 99 Take Down - .22 HP cal. - Stk #C270
This 22 Hi-Power Savage Model 99 take down rifle has a 19-1/2” barrel round barrel that is blued with some usage and handling marks. The bore is in good condition. The barrel is mounted with a Marbles adjustable rear sight that is missing the elevator. The front blade sight that was silver soldered on is missing. The action is smooth and locks up tight. The blued finish on the receiver is worn, along with slight wear on the barrel. The rotating magazine spring is weak on this rifle and the ejector spring is missing. The Walnut forend and buttstock with a metal butt plate are in good condition but do have some usage dents and scratches. The butt stock is slightly a skewed on the receiver due to the fact that is has been restocked. Length of pull is 13-1/8”, overall length is 39”, and weight is 6.6 lbs. Our stock number is C270.
