Fine example of the Berthier Model 1916 carbine in 8 x 50R. Barrel is dated 1918 and the action/barrel, floorplate, stock, and bolt head are matching numbers. The bolt body is mismatched. This one has the
1932 inter war modifications and has the N receiver stamp. The original leather sling in fine condition is present. It is mechanically perfect and has an excellent bore. Both the bluing and stock finish are original, with minor wood dents. An original 5 shot magazine clip is included. It is from an old collection and has no import markings. This one would look good in any WW2 collection, and also be a fine shooter. Please see the photos to determine condition.
