Description:
Late 18th / ear;ly 19th Century paur of 18-bore Ottoman pistols most likely made in Boka Kattorska. 17 inches overall with 10 inch steel barrels. Very heavy gold gilt silver stocks overlaid on Italian pistols, with false rammers. Barrels are maked "Recalosi Franzini E Febrari." Steel locks with Miquelet ignition signed in Arabic. The stocls are deeply engraved with scrollwork, temndrils and swirls throughout. High relief grotesque masks. Near mint original condition. Rare pair of Sultan - grade pistols.
