Unless otherwise stated, our guns are not test fired as we have no facility for that. We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Description:
Here is a good condition Remington 788 chambered in 243 Winchester. Date code is LQ which should be Feb 1978. The rifle has a front ramp sight and scope ring and base but the rear sight has been remover and is not present. The wood looks refinished to me and the metal is in very good shape. The bore looks very good, clean and shiny with very good rifling. There is one original magazine present. This will make a great deer rifle.
