Description:
24 inch Half octagon barrel chambered in 22 Short caliber. Original sights include Beeches combination front sight and a typical buck horn Winchester rear sight. Has a better than average bore but generally they are horrible. Original wood retains most of the original varnish with just a few minor dings. The is a very fine crack coming up from the frame on the bottom of the forearm which is about 2 inches long. Mechanical condition is excellent with the correct dust cover. Magazine tube is in tact, generally they are usually screwed up. These things never really functioned really well. Overall metal is in good condition with sharp corners and excellent markings. About 20% original finish still remaining turning mostly a plum brownish coloration. Half octagon barrel is very scarce as I have only seen a few of them as well as only seen a few take down frames. Very nice little gun overall.
