Here's a .22 rifle made by Savage and sold by Montgomery Wards. This is model 81 which is the same as Savage 29.
This is a really fine gun. Savage model 29 was and is still rated as one of the all time great pump .22 rifles. This version is a rare bird.
It is all original and is in excellent condition. The inside is as clean as the outside and shows almost no sign of use or wear.
This one hasn't seen a lot of time in the field. It's the take down version making cleaning very easy.For it's age this little guy looks really good. He has a few handling marks on the stock and none on the blueing. It operates perfectly and is very accurate.
It handles your choice of 22 caliber shell, s , l or lr. Guns of this quality wearing a famous brand name would cost $1500.00 or more .
No company made a better pump rifle !! The bottom line is, this is a very fine rifle that is roughly 90 years old and has easily another
