SOLD Another early 17th thru 18th Century embellished and inlaid flintlock pistol , measuring 19 1/2" overall oth an inlaid barrel of 12" and bore of about .60 cal.Action works well and the exterior metal has fine pitting from beaing shipbound, with numerous gold/or brass inlays. The more fancy a gun the more likely it was the ship captains gun. Teh European walnut stock is showing added finish and older repairs common for a gun 200 to 300 years old.. Piece of wood missig near the butt-cap on the fron right side, as the buttcap was used as a club when the shot was fired upon boarding. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
