Description:
This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1914/34 Transitional, made in about 1929. This was a popular back up weapon for Nazi officers and police. The only real difference between this and the earlier model is the slide legend. They made about 58,000 of this variation. This one is excellent, retaining about 95-96% of its original bluing. The slide has turned a pleasant plumb. It has some minor handling marks and holster wear around the muzzle wear.. The bore is bright and sharp. The action crisp. The numbers are matching. The pistol comes with marked Czech CZ24 holster dated 1938. From the fit of the pistol to the holster the two have been together for a long time. The magazines are from and earlier model.
