Winchester Salesman Powder Sample – Very Good Condition.
“Rare 1898 Winchester DUMMY Shotgun Shell Advertising Gunpowder Display”.
Brass leader shell head with glass and cardboard cutout, about 6 inches long.
All great readable writing on shell. Great Example and very hard to find in this condition!!
The shell lists 11 different powders that Winchester loaded their shotshells with.
Typically when you find these samples the wads inside that separate the various powders
is tilted and many times the powders are mixed.
