First-year production Griffin & Howe custom Mauser. Originally built in 1923 and re-bored at some later date to 7m/m Rem. Mag. this exquisite rifle is Rudolph Kornbrath engraved and was (Apparently) a smaller caliber rifle as it features a woodchuck on the floor plate! Magnificent Circassian walnut, 26" heavy barrel, 15" L.O.P., double set triggers, Lyman 48 receiver sight, two leaf folding express sights, base, for a single lever G&H side mount; at 9 1/2 pounds, without scope this is no "featherweight" sporter.
