Description:
Here's a relatively uncommon Colt Single Action Army revolver. Manufactured in 2015 at the Colt Custom Shop, this third generation revolver is built on the limited production "black powder" style frame. (It is believed these frames were derived from excess parts resultant from commerative production, to use surplus inventory of BP frames.) This style frame dates back to the 1870's and has a screw that retains the cylinder base pin rather than the transverse push-button retainer; (modern built, & strong enough for modern smokeless cartridges). It also has the 1800's style "bulleye" ejector rod button. This revolver is chambered for .45 Colt, wears the 5 1/2" barrel, is finished in royal blue with a distingtive color case hardened frame with generous character. It also has the removable cylinder bushing. Condition is “New In The Box” never have been fired. Both the white outer box as well as the blue inner box's are iin good condition. It should make someone a very fine shooter or investment !
