Incredibly preserved factoring its 81 years, and incredibly rare 7MM (7x57 Mauser) CARBINE! This is an absolutely genuine carbine with perfect ramp transitions, stippling, crown, etc. (not a contrived carbine like so many others). S/N 39*** with lightly scribed but positively matching bolt made in 1941. 98% Blue, 97% Varnish. 20" carbine barrel with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions are also working smoothly and properly. Less than 1500 Model 70s were ever made in 7MM, representing only 1/4 of 1% total production. Carbines naturally represent a much smaller percentage than that! An exceedingly difficult Model 70 to find.
