Description:
Browning Superposed 20 Gauge Grade 1. S/N# 5740
Date of mfg. 1953. Barrels are 28” This is a standard weight gun, not a Lightning model. Weight is 6-8oz. It is choked bottom barrel Modified; Top barrel is Full. Stock dimensions:  Drop at comb is 1 5/8”. Drop at heel is 2 ¼”. The LOP is 14 ¼”. To a standard black browning butt plate. Perfect modern dimensions.
The standard weight gun is not as common as it’s lighter weight sibling the Lightning model. This gun balances exceptional well. It has that between hands feel that is second to none. The little bit of extra weight is attributed to its superior handling qualities. I can attest to the fact that this is a fantastic dove gun, especially on the high flyers! This is an early gun with the solid black trigger, and a vent rib.  Let the following photos speak for themselves. Priced $3,895.00.
