23-1/2 inch barrel chambered in 43 Spanish, has an excellent bright and shiny bore with barrel marked MODELO ARGENTINO 1879 E.N.. Barrel retains about 70% original thinning blue toning to pleasant plum-brown patina with scattered light dings. The frame retains a generous amount of smoky case-hardened colors overall showing scattered minor staining and a coating of old protective lacquer. Interesting example equipped with rifle-style sling swivels, no saddle ring, and right-side saber bayonet mount. Smooth walnut buttstock and forearm remain in very good condition showing a dark oil finish with scattered abrasions and dings. Original sights.
