Description:
Model 1836 Pistol converted to percussion dated 1843. Very nice condition. Fully functional and a really nice representative piece for the collector. Metal is bright with nice markings. 8 1/2" barrel and lockplate dated 1843. The lockplate is still showing some it's original case colors as well the hammer (see pics). Still has a fair amount of the original blue on the trigger. Stock is in good condition with two nice cartouches. There is a tiny crack in the front of the rear sideplate screw and looks a repair to the wood around rear sideplate screw (see pics). Overall a very nice condition Model 1836 which is well above the average condition ones you see on the current market. Antique and can be shipped directly to you. Please feel free to ask questions.
