I spoke with the co-founder of Shiloh Sharps Rifle Company, Wolfgang Droege in 2001 about this rifle.
He informed me that only 3 Shiloh Sharps Rifles were made with Shiloh factory mounted Lyman Centennial full length scopes.
The Lyman scopes were made to Commemeorate Lyman's 100 Year Anniversary in 1978. This scope was an over run purchased
by Wolfgang. There is no dovetail cuts front or aft for barrel sights. Shiloh began manufacturing Sharps Rifles in 1976, likely making
this rifle a second year gun.
I have owned the Rifle since 2000, condition is 99% and I believe unfired.
