A beautiful revolver here. Reblued masterfully, most likely by S&W. Lettering gold filled the way S&W did many years ago. Check the last picture, under the grips there appears to be a few dates stamped? A small diamond, a 2. Factory stamps? I don't know. The blue is deep and beautiful and even, stamps not buffed out. The factory trademark and logo is as sharp as any new gun. Grips not original to this gun. Frame, cylinder and barrel all matching numbers. Inside the crane on the frame is a military stamp, the Eagle head looking up above S3. So is this a factory reworked WW1 issue revolver? I don't know, but it's a beauty, and really fairly priced. $45 shipping to the lower 48, 3% surcharge for using a CC.
