From a mid-west estate sale, Made in 1940, a Winchester Model 94 Carbine lever action 30-30 caliber rife. The 20" round barrel has a full lenght magazine tube and the bore looks good (see photos). The stock and forend are in great solid condition with no chips or cracks; however there is a over 80 years worth of dents, dings and scratches (see photos). The crescent steel butt plate and barrel band are in good condition and, along with the receiver, barrel and other metal on the rifle has aged to a mottled gray patina (see photos). The action is smooth and solid and the gunlocks up tight. The leather saddle scabbard is in good condition. The leather is pliable and is maker stamped Brownsville Texas. The two deer feet have been taxidermied and are designed to use as a gun rack (skin missing from one leg...see photos). At the sale they said this gun has been in the same family for years. This is an amazing vintage 94 that makes no excuses. It is an honest old hard working lever gun; therefore, I am offering this rifle with a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
