This 7nm (7X57nn) Chilean Model 1895 rifle was manufactured by Lowe in Berlin. The 29.6"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx 98% of its arsenal refinish (probably applied just prior to sale by Chile). The Chilean crest is on top of the chamber (weak from refinish) and the left side of the receiver is marked MAUSER CHILENO MODELO 1895 over MANUFACTURA LOWE BERLIN. The receiver, bolt, stock, floorplate, and cleaning rod numbers match. The stock is excellent with minimal wear. The action functions correctly. This fine exqmple of the Chilean Model 1895 rifle is ready for your South American or Mauser collection.
