Description:
12 gauge 30 inch barrels choked Modified & Full with near excellent bores chambered 2-3/4 inches. Barrels retain about 70% original rust blue starting to thin and turn to a slightly brown patina with a few scattered spots of light pitting and freckling. Frame shows darkening case-hardened colors in the protected areas toning to mottled silvery gray patina with some staining and freckles. The action shows factory engraved foliate scrollwork and game bird scenes. Checkered pistolgrip walnut buttstock and forend remain in about very good plus condition with buttstock showing highly figured grain and typical scattered light handling marks. The forend with ebony insert shows an old crack repair along the right side rear. Factory ventilated red rubber buttpad remains remarkably pliable. Barrels lock-up tightly on-face with top lever just right of center.
