Description:
This is a pair of AYA No. 1 12 gauge shotguns manufactured in 1976. They are identical except for choke. No. 1 is I/C and Mod. No. 2 is Mod and Full. Guns are numbered with consecutive serial numbers. Both have 15 inch pull, 1 1/2 inch drop at comb, 2 1/2 inch drop at heel. 28 inch barrels and single selective triggers. Extrators and 2 3/4 inch chambers. Hand detachable locks. Case coloring is excellent on both. Wood is good with minor blemishes, pistol grip, checkered butt. Gun No. 1 has a tiny crack at the tang (see pictures). Bores are shiny with no pitting. The barrels have been recently professionally re-blued by Midwest Gunworks in Pevely, MO. I purchased the shotguns for pheasant hunting but back problems are preventing me from walking the distances and terrain required. This is a beautiful pair of shotguns.
