Rock Island Armory Springfield 1903 30-06
This is an extremely rare and interesting rifle. It is among the very last to be built originally at the Rock Island Armory and sent to Springfield to be finished. The last documented rifle from RIA had a serial number of 430742. The serial number of this rifle is 429621, making it among the last 1903 rifles made at RIA. The gun itself has been re-arsenalled and has a Springfield barrel bomb dated to 6-42. When RIA ceased production and sent their remaining receivers to Springfield, they were fitted with many Springfield parts. Everything is fully functional with the rifle and in very good condition.
