CIVIL WAR ERA ORNATELY ENGRAVED V. COLLETTE LEFAUCHEUX PATENT PINFIRE REVOLVER CA. 1860’S. Six shot double action 9mm pinfire cal. with full fluted cylinder and 4 ½’ barrel stamped alternately “V. COLLETTE/LIEGE” and “E. LEFAUCHEUX/INVR BREVETE”. Frame, cylinder, straps and butt cap “LEAF & VINE” engraved. 100% original and matching and in fine condition. Cylinder with all nearly all the blue and barrel with blue and patina mix. Excellent origina grips original to the gun and ESA exempt over 100 years old. Engraving with much of the original blue background and coin polish (minor patination) on the raised vine and leaf motifs. Working order and excellent bore and chambers. Stonewall Jackson carried a large frame Lefaucheux very similar to this belt size model.
