(Sale Pending)This Remington 700 BDL was manufactured in 1963, the first year of production for the 6mm rem. It features a Fleur-de-lis checkered Monte Carlo walnut stock with a 20 inch barrel. Blueing on rifle has some wear at the end of barrel. The stock shows dings and scratches from being used as a hunting rifle. Bore has been inspected and is bright and clean.
Barrel of early model 700s were button rifled, a process developed by Mike Walker and used by Remington today only in making barrels for its 40X target rifles. Model 700 barrels after 1966 are hammer-forged
