On Hold Sale Pending Arabic or North Africa Camel gun/musket with functioning lock marked Tower and dated 1859,musket including powder horn. Total length 56.5 inches with a 41.5 inch octagon barrel with front and rear sights and is approximately 62-65 caliber. Functioning lock and barrel have a dark brown patina. The trigger gaurd, nose cap and 6 bands are brass with a brown patina. Most camel guns of this period were made from purchased obsolete parts such as the lock and trigger gaurd which are British. The full length wood stock is nice but has a crack from the top lock screw to the wrist area (see photos). Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
