Rare Winchester Model 62 Five Spot Gallery gun Mfg,1936, stamped Five Spot in a circle on the stock.The "5"-Spot Short Range Gun Clubs of America, Inc. were licensed shooting galleries that started operation in 1935 and 1936. They were located in various parts of the United States. 22 short matching serial numbers.. The original bluing is starting to turn a dark gray. The lettering and number stampings are clear and sharp. Wood is in good condition, no cracks or repairs. Action is smooth and fast, safety is also functional on half-cock. The bore is shiny, shows rifling and no sign of corrosion or pitting. The magazine tube features a unique triangular shaped loading port, which were designed to accommodate the pre-loaded ammo tubes for faster reloading. This is a rare collectible. They don't come up very often for sale. Included are five vintage 12 shot Winchester Western speed loading tubes and a number of original shooting gallery targets.. As is, no returns.
