Description:
This is a reproduction Model 1777 French Infantry musket. It was the last upgrade to the Charleville Musket. This model added a carved cheek piece in the stock, finger ridges on the trigger guard and a Brass frizzen. It has a 69 Cal. 44 3/4 inch Barrel, with a total length of 60 inches. The Lockplate has the St. Etienne arsenal markings and the appropriate stampings on the breech. It has a casehardened frizzen cover and Hammer and produces great sparks This model was used by French troops when they joined the Revolution on the side of America. Each Gun is finished and test-fired by us, with a charge of 75 Grains of AA Pyrodex.
