SOLD An interesting, complete Harpers Ferrymusket with an 1847 dated lock with a 42" ong original length with front sighr on the front barrel band and an under muzzle lug for a bayonet, Caliber ar muzzle measures about .70" or original .69 smooth bore called the 1841 U.S. Musket, which must likely had seen service in the Civil War, possibly by the Confedercy. Overall clean American wanut wood stock, complete and the lock and barrel well marked in smooth grey color. Action works well, and comes with a button iron ram-rod wiht sling swivels. Not abused, but expected wear. However about 13" down the bore from th muzzle there is a ring that had been repaaired and not good to fire this gun. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
