Newly finished -1-22 Tenn Southern Mountain pattern iron longrifle. Grade4/5 curly maple, Tapered and flared A weight Colerain .40 cal barrel,
L&R Bailes lock, Following hardware handmade in 1980s by the late Myron Carlson of Indiana, I believe
buttplate,toeplate, triggers,trigg guard, ramrod pipes,a master craftsman too soon gone from us. I was honored to build this rifle with his parts.Wish I could have known him.
He called these parts his East Tennessee set.
I reworked patchbox,and changed finish somewhat. I presently cant get pics from this infernal pooter as it keeps getting upgraded when I dont want it messed with. Anyway, I have updated pics available via email from phone.
