Remington Rand was a company in Syracuse, NY known for their typewriters, but in lieu of the global conflict, they produced model of 1911 handguns for military service. The Remington Rand M1911 A1 U.S. Army is a rare firearm and an incredible source of history and quality craftsmanship. This model was manufactured in 1944 and features newer reproduction grips. This handgun is chambered in the All-American .45 ACP cartridge and is in beautiful shape. This handgun includes two 7-round magazines, an original magazine pouch, and the original grips (Pachmayr grips installed.)
