This FN Herstal Model SCAR16S is a right hand semi-auto rifle in 5.56 NATO Cal. It has a 16.5 inch barrel plus a muzzle device. 1/7 twist. It has a folding adjustable post front sight and a folding adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a right hinged folding black polymer with a two position comb and sliding adjustable LOP. The forearm is a metal alloy with top vent holes. There is Picatinny rail on all four sides. It has an ambidextrous safety. The charging handle can be on either side. 5.56x45mm NATO
