Neat and rare Antique New England Crank Gallery Air Rifle circa 1870`s. Nice and clean. Has been in the same estate collection for well over 50 years. No visible makers markings however there are a few maker's marks visible when the barrel is tilted. I however cannot get a good photo of them. Rifle is in overall near excellent condition. Overall metal is bright and grey, wood is very good and free of cracks or repair. Scroll engraving on metal as shown. All appears to be original. Original crank is included. Rifle will need mechanical tinkering should you want to shoot it. When it is cranked air pressure is building however, there is no stop if you will. That is, there is no audible ratcheting when cranked. If you release the crank it will unwind. Should be easy to mend. Anyway, unsure of the caliber but probably 23-27 caliber. Again, rifle is clean, original and nice. Add $75. P&H in the lower 48 states. Thank you.
