Description:
Winchester Model 70 XTR Magnum 7mm Remington Magnum bolt action rifle, dated to 1979. This rifle features the iconic Model 70 bolt action mechanism, with a lovely walnut stock and cut checkering, as well as a rich blued finish on the receiver and barrel. The grip cap appears to have been custom engraved with the image of a bucks head, which adds a nice bit of character to the rifle. The rifle is in excellent working condition with a glass smooth action, brilliant bore, and only minor finish wear in small areas, as shown. A Redfield 3-9x rifle scope is fitted to the receiver.
