Description:
Offered for sale is an excellent codition WWII US Property issued Colt model 1911A1. Serial number 809586. Based on serial number this 1911A1 was manufactured by Colt in mid 1942. Pistol has all correct US Property proofs and acceptance marks along with scarce WB - Waldemar Broberg inspection stamp. Slide has correct matching number to frame. This 1911 is from short production run by Colt, when slides were numbered to the frame. This Colt has the correct "G" proofed marked barrel in excellent condition and correct proofed with letter “R” - made by Risdon Tool & Machine Co magazine. Pistol remains in all authentic and excellent honest, condition. Authentic parkerised finish is excellent considering the age of the gun, with some thinning on the straps. Authentic coltwood grips are in excellent condition.
