This is an exceptional original Winchester 1876 in 45-60. A very nice rifle with the octagon barrel and a shiney bore with sharp rifling.Everything is correct on this rifle and the action and all mechanical aspects of this rifle are tight. The wood is original with original finish and no cracks. The bluing is still mostly intact, showing thinning, but not turning as brown as many do. The reciever still has most of the original blue and no signs of forging lines that you see in many of these old rifles. Screws and all the metal show no sign of being messed with, a really nice original 1876 in a caliber that is capable of killing big game and not beating you up as much as the 45-70. This is an antique and can be shipped direct. You won't be disappointed...$6599.00
