I did put mint down and I think you will agree, with me when you see it !! The rarest of single shot 22"s, these were made from 48 to 54, with only 48,000 made, the fewest of any bolt action 22 caliber!! They were not expensive, and had an innovation, that people did not like, I would guess, because they sold few of them! That was, the bolt when used to extract the empty shell, would return the rilfe to Safety automatically, a very safe thing to do, but people at that time did not want that safety ! That is why they are the rarest of Win 22's !
This as you can see, is ready for a box, which would cost as much as this gun, if you had one ! I bought it 20 some years ago, and have never shot it !The Bolt and the safety is nickel plated, I am not sure they all were like this, maybe! The blue and the wood as you see in pics is like new !!
