Two guns in inventory one Green and one Silver - Other than the finsish they are identical.
A wonderful carry gun. I have owned one or the other Charter Arms revolvers since 1979. They are a truly honorable American company.
This gun has the Charter Arms invented Transfer Bar Safety, now used by almost every revolver manufacturer.
Their revolvers have the shortest hammer throw and fastest lock time.
They utilize a wide trigger and hammer spur.
The Cylinder lock up is in three places instead of two: cylinder stop and ejector rod collar for additional safety, strength and cylinder-to- barrel lock up.
These guns are a dream to cock on the draw - allowing for a quick target acquisition - a must in a critical situation.
This particular gun is lightweight because of the alloy frame. I use Winchester Silver Tip ammo, or any lightweight ammo with a reliably expanding bullet.
Reasonable pricing, excellent customer service and well made reliable products is the hallmark of this company.
I belly carry this with a lightweight soft Blackhawk holster that grabs on the outside and allows the gun to be drawn easily because of the inside finish of the holster.
You could spend more, but you will get no more and possibly less.
I once asked Nick Ecker, the owner, why he made Pink guns. He said if he didn't make pink guns he wouldn't make nearly as much money. He has since made guns in all colors. This one is in a light green...
