Description:
Lightweight Winchester Model 1886 features a 22 inch round tapered barrel chambered in 45-70 caliber with an excellent bore. Original sights include the folding ladder "1886" marked rear sight and a Lyman hunters ivory bead front sight as well as a folding tang sight. Also features a scarce 3/4 inch mag tube. The original wood is in very good condition with most of the original varnish remaining with just a few light handling mars. Hard rubber buttplate. It has a very crisp action. Has about 90% blue starting to tone on the barrel and the receiver is mostly a plum/brown color with traces of original blue still present in the protected area. Nice good clean sharp little gun made in 1902.
