Massive Curved Engraved British Napoleonic Era Sword Sabre Mfg Dawes 1790's
From my research(I am not an expert) I would date the sword from 1790 to 1810. The blade has a number of engravings. Metal is stained & pitted. Grip is tight & the wire wrapping is in good condition. The leather scabbard is in relic condition. The sword on the other hand is in decent condition for 200 yrs old.The top of the spine is marked "Dawes- Birmingham- Warrented" Shipping is $25
