I am selling this 1970 Winchester Model 70 from my collection, a Triple 70 ... Model 70, Made in '70 and chambered in .270! The rifle is in beautiful condition.
The stock is gorgeous with only a few small nicks from handling. You have to look very closely to find anything. There is a slight loss of blueing around the rim of the crown at the end of the barrel and 2 small knicks on the floor plate with a slight loss of blueing on the hinge corners . These could be touched up but guns are made to shoot.
The bore is in good shape and the rifle shoots very well having seen very limited use.
A vintage and period correct NOS United Binoculars Co. 4X scope is mounted with NOS large thumbwheel Weaver rings. The scope is in mint condition as are the rings.
