One of approximately 1500 lever action navy pistols with an 8 inch barrel manufactured circa 1856. Grip frame detached from frame behind the hammer and at the top of the frontstrap. Magazine spring, follower, and rotating cap absent. Barrel plugged from both ends (possibly running length of barrel). The grip frame has been brazed together at the mainspring screw hole.
