Excellent plus overall condition as arsenal assembled.Refurbished M-1 Garand originally made in July of 1944 by the Springfield Armory and re-arsenalled and refitted and sold by CMP at Anniston, Alabama as an M1-D Sniper rifle. Gun has "SA" marked barrel dated "1- 52" with "65" draw code "SA" marked bolt, late style sights, and "W.R.A." marked cut op-rod. Early milled "WRA" marked trigger guard with mismatched early and late "SA" parts. Comes with unopened 1968 dated packages holding correct pieces for M-1D Sniper such as scope, leather cheekpiece, flash hider, mount, etc., with original shipping box with original "CMP" paperwork. TE of 1 and a ME of 1.
