Description:
This gun is a very rare special order 20 inch octagon barrel caliber 44-40 short rifle. Full length mag tube and a rifle butt. It has a fine bore and crisp action. Features all original sights. Has a one inch shorter than standard rifle forearm which is correct for the short rifle. Wood is in new condition with only having very light handling mars. Has most all of the barrel blue and the receiver is probably about 95% blue with a little flaking off the blue which is turning brown/plum color where it flaked. Excellent gun in hard to find 44 WCF caliber.
